hopefully i'm using this site correctly. i was told by a parole officer that there's a ua test that can be sent off to a lab that can detect alcohol 4 weeks back. how far can such a test go back? 4 weeks, 2 weeks, 80 hours...i have no clue.

No offence, but you are on porbation, if you can't get the answer from your probation officer, then it would be very unwise for us to give you an answer; because, if they don't tell you, that probably means you shouldn't be drinking.

Please ask your Parole Official

Best of luck to you.

P.S. You posted on the addictions board, this implies that you have an addiction. I'm guessing alcohol??

You may consider talking to your parole officer and letting them know you're needing some counselling or thearopy. Get some supports and maybe try exercising, or doing some volunteer work.

Peace and kindness be with you. Take care.

The answer was given to you, I've heard of the test your brothers Parole officer spoke of, but i'm not sure if it's real. I'd strongly suggest sticking to what the Parole officer said, seriously.
