Accounting is a science and it needs time to learn and understand. You can work in accounting perfectly if you read and work at the same time, then you will get the experience and the knowledge. I advice you read intermediate acconting books (Kieso is the best). Moreover, you can seek for a professional certificate such as CPA. If you have no time for CPA you can just read the book which is related to financial accounting and solve the problems (CPA FARE).
