I have swollen calvess and feet plus I am cravimg salt?

They are most likely directly related. You need to cut back on the salt. I crave salt with my food and I found you need to switch to sea salt. It isn't quite as bad for you and I don't crave salt as much now as I did when I was using table salt because what your body is craving has been taken out of the table salt.
You could also try using herbs and spices to replace salt. Like use cajun or creole seasoning and garlic powder when you can.
You could have a vitamin or mineral deficiency that is causing you to crave salt.
One of my problems for my salt addiction was adrenaline exhaust which causes a lack of potassium. Mine was partly caused from drinking cola which they now say leads to hypokalaemia which causes the adrenaline exhaust, low potassium and salt cravings.
