How do I remove the crankshaft nut that is located on the end of the crankshaft of a craftsman gas blower 358.797180? Does the nut turn off, if so what direction, and how do I stop the shaft from turning while unscrewing the nut. Or is the nut pressed on. I need to remove this nut to replace the starter pull rope assembly.

Because of engine rotation mant nuts like this are reversed thread, turn clockwise to loosen.
