Hi. I have been running my AC for about a month. Lately there has been a smell coming out similar to that of dry cleaning fluid. I have noticed this smell before when I first turn the unit on after being off for the winter, but it has never lasted for this long or been this strong. Any suggestions?

I would check into a refrigerant leak, dirty coil, or plugged/gunked up condensate drain.
