im 22 years old. i usually have my period every month on the 21st but didnt start till the third. after my period two weeks later i started spotting pinkish brown stuff for about 5 days and then it stopped. i took a pregnancy test three days after the spotting and it was negagtive. was it too early to take the test or what could it be????:confused:

It's natural for your period to shift or for the flow to vary every now and then. Have you been sexually active?? If so, the risk of preganancy is always there. Make an appt to see your doctor to have everything checked thoroughly. There are a number of things that can cause your cycle to fluctuate (stress, significant weight gain or loss, new meds, etc) and your regular doctor is the best way to narrow down the possibilities.

Yes I have been sexually active. Me and my husband have been trying to have kids for a year now. Now I'm two weeks late and still spotting here and there. I have no cramps or signs of prgnancy. I'm taking another pregnancy test on the 3rd of July I'm hoping it's positive. But for now I just don't know what it could be. Was it just too early to tell??? I don't understand why I'm still spotting.
