my husband and i want to start a family. We've ttc for the past month. we had intercourse on the 3rd of may, i then had my period on the 6th. but it wasn't the same. i felt very dizzy and nauseas, also i had major headaches throught my period. my periods only last like 3-4 days everytime. i ended on the 9th of may. ever since i stopped my period, i've been feeling very tired and always wanting to sleep, been very moody lately,i'm going to the bathroom more often, my breasts have been sore and my nipples have been sensative even to this day. we've had sex every other day since my period ended. i'm supposed to start my period on the 3rd of june, which is tomorrow. i've done 3 pregnancy tests so far. all came out negative. is it to early to take a hpt. or should i wait a few more days before testing again? please help, my husband already thinks i'm prego, but i dont want him to be all excited and then we find out i'm not.

You should wait until AFTER the missed period for testing to be most accurate. Also, you have only been trying for one month. It takes many healthy couples up to a year of actively trying before falling pregnant.

If you are not taking prenatals already, please do so as it prepares your body for pregnancy and reduces the risk of certain defects, such as spina bifida, that happen during the early stages of pregnancy. Many times before the woman even knows she is pregnant.
