My furnace/ac is not working. The thermostat was blank, so I replaced it and still, no functions on the Trane XB80. I checked the circuit breaker and it is on. I also tried heat and cold. Is there a reset on the unit? I do not have the manual.

Thank You
Colin

I am assuming that you have a gas furnace and that it is an upflow furnace, if not you will have to use your head to apply what I tell you.

First you need to make sure that you door switch is good and that when your put the bottom door in place the switch is depressed.

If you have a volt meter you can use it to test the power to the unit at L 1 and L 2 on the circuit board. If you have power then you need to check the fuse that is on the board, if that is good then check the low voltage to see if the transformer is working, check this at Sec 1 and Sec 2. After you have checked these and not found the problem post back here,.
