Ok, For years my period was heavy.but it has got even worse over the last 5-6 years. I have 3 kids and lost 4 over the last 3 years. all losses in early 2nd trimester. (12,12,14 and 16 weeks) the one we lost at 16 week the cord was wraped around neck 2 time. regardless my issue is this I tried birth control I went on the one that gives you a period every 3 months during the first month of taking it I expected some spotting but during week 3 my period started (slow at first) but then lasted for 45 days. (yeh, I didn't mistype) it got bad then light then bad. I went to the doctor he said it was breakthrough bleeding. personaly I have never heard of breakthrough bleeding containing clots the size of my fist. I told him I was done and wanted my tubes tied and signed the papers this was around day 20 of my period. as most of you know you have to wait 30 days after signing the paper work to have a tubal. ok, now tubal on the way and the doctor agreed to do a d&c and the same time. so I went in about 3 weeks ago and had my proceedure. Yesterday I got my period and it is just as bad as ever. they found nothing during the proceedure and he looked for everything. I had ultrasounds prior to the proceedure which also showed nothing wrong. I have had bloodwork and take synthroid, cymbalta, indural and 2 vitamins a day. I am at a loss. no one has any answers and I find it hard to sleep worring if I will bleed through at night and do every time. hell I can't even keep up during the day. I found huge pads but it doesn't matter. I am ready to go to adult diapers soon. about 2 years ago I woke up and when I stood up out of bed it was just running down my leg so bad it got on the carpet and wouldn't come out. I am afraid to sit on my furnature. and I hurt my legs, my back, my stomach hurts and hell even my head hurts which is what the indural is for (migraines) Someone Please Help. my friend got and eblation but she got burned during the procedure and now sex isn't the same she says. I was told it doesn't always work. any ideas.:confused::confused::confused:
