I am a medium brown naturally but recently i have used permanent hair dyes to go to a blonde stage it has worked somewhat but then i added highlights and now i'm wanting to go all the way. my hair is now a light golden blonde with lighter blonde highlights and it wont except color in some spots i went to a beauty supply place and they told me to use a protein filler before i do any more coloring will this work . also after all the dying my hair is still healthy and shiny i do deep conditioning every other day.

I have naturally dark brown hair and I went blonde a few years ago.

Using a tipping cap (the ones that look like shower caps with holes in them)

Pull through about 80% of your hair (You will need to make extra holes)

The 20% that isn't bleached won't show up as it will mix in with the blonde and it looks much more natural than going full on peroxide!
It also reduces regrowth by a LOT and to fix your regrowth you only have to do more tips, not have to do fiddly base work on your hair.

While the conditioner is important, it doesn't actually repair the hair. Its primary function is to prevent mechanical damage to the hair and to make it manageable (it feels better).

Shazmataz' way of doing it is not bad, except that you're already mostly there.

I recommend double-processing - bleaching and toning. But since you're already substantially blonde, do only the roots and you'll become blonde as it grows out. Besides that, you won't have the problem of sudden change that often causes people to question whether they've done the "right thing" (and sometimes they then make a huge mistake and throw dark dye on the hair). If you can pick out darker strands, you can lighten them also, but be careful not to over-process the already-bleached strands of hair.

Another possibility is to do "tone-on-tone" (lighten with single-process haircoloring to dark blonde; bleach highlights).

have you ever heard of prism lites by salon care it has a toner in it can i use it to finish bleaching my hair light blonde without the gold

I am not familiar with that product. However, I am aware of other "bleach and toners in one" products. They usually have limited lifting power and the toning ability is less than great.

i have found that doing my highlights it only took about 20 minutes or less

im naturally a mousy blonde ive gone plantinum blonde all over i used bblonde bleaching creams by jerome russels u can get 1 for blonde to dark blonde hair and 1 for dark blonde to brown hair you could try that althought do a strand test first just incase so it doesnt look a mess if it doesnt take.
