I think you mean tibia. How old are you? Are you healthy?

A cast is put on so that the fracture can heal.

hi thank you for the reply i am 55 and in good health i have no cast on and leg is sore when i walk on it

Oh, I am sorry, I thought you said there was a cast. Usually a hairline fracture is also called a stress fracture. There is no need to place a cast as it is not a solid break. Many times these heal on their own.
