I turned my ac on blower in house works no cold air outside unit just hums and fan doesnt come on

sounds like you may need a new capasitor. did you check the breaker? The capasitor will be in the electric pannel outside. look to see if a wire is burnt or if the top of it is domed up.

Check your breakers inside the house and out at the A/C. Turn them off and back to on to reset them. A lot of service calls are made only from the home owner not checking the breaker first and resetting them.
