Hubby n I have been trying for a baby since Jan,,, i have irregular periods,,,My LMP was 28th March,,, i had a lot of wine a week b4 my periods were due,,,
i missed my periods,,, since they are irregular, i was not sure if i missed it,,, anyway, i took a HPT n it was positive,,,, now m in a dilemma,,, will the wine effect the fetus?

Try not to worry as it is very unlikely that there would be a problem from that one week....plenty of women find out they are pregnant after they have had a few drinks. The bigger concern would be if you were frequently having many drinks....during a known pregnancy.

How much is too much in pregnancy? You will get a debate...often depending on where you live and even who your doctor or midwife is. Some feel the occasional glass of wine is not an issue, others feel that it is better to have nothing to be on the safe side.
