Great to hear that you got your period back. Try motrin for the cramps, its the same active ingredient in some of the other medications. Just so you know about a new product on the market called Pandeez. It will help your provide smart protection or convenience during that time. Go to Pandeez.com to check it out and get one for yourself.

Now to answer the OPs question:

Call your Dr. and once you have had a checkup to rule out cysts or fibroids that could be the root of the problem, they may be willing to prescribe a stronger pain reliever for you than what you can buy over the counter.

Exercise is a great way to loosen the muscles and relieve some of the cramping.

If you're in too much pain to exercise, try a heating pad or hot water bottle.
