May I know if wearing boxers or positioning your penis upward (when not erected) would help your penis be "straight" because my penis curves downward (erect) and I wear briefs. I think wearing briefs is my reason why my penis curves downward because when I've got an erection, it prevents/blocks my penis from standing. Are there any ways to straighten it or lessen the curveness of my penis?

Julian, there are many wives tales out there about "curvature of the penis" such as "whichever hand you masturbate with your penis will curve in that direction."

Well, they simply are not true. This is a genetic thing. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to straighten it any more than it already is. You can try wearing boxers, they are more comfortable, in many mens' opinion. But this is something you were born with.

I don't know how old you are, or even if you have been sexually intimate yet. But it may be something that may benefit your wife when you have one. The curvature could be stimulating to her. So, think on the bright side!!

There is a medical condition, called Peyronie's Disease, which can cause an abnormal (often painful) curvature of the penis from fibrosis (scarring). It can worsen if left untreated. If you have any doubts about what you have being normal or not, see a urologist

I'm 17 and I haven't experience sex yet. My theory why my penis curves downward is you get scarring because when I get an erection in public places, my briefs blocks/prevents my penis from standing so as time pass, my penis curves downward
