Where do I find info on Canadian taxes fro owning a home in the USA? What can I claim on my taxes?

If you are renting the house in the U.S., you will have to file a U.S. tax return in aiddtion to the Canadian tax return.

The Canadian tax authority has a website just like the IRS. I suggest you start there.

And when you sell the house, U.S. tax will be due on the gain. Special withholding rules apply to sales of U.S. real estate by nonresident aliens.
