heya, I have really fair skin and dark circles and id like to try out some different foundations and concealers.

I need something for combination skin which is prone to dry patches and pimples despite cleansing and exfoliating. I also dont really like wearing a lot of makeup so something with light coverage that looks natural would be great.

I have been using a standard yellow stick concealer and Revlon Mineral Foundation but im finding the yellow can show through if im not really careful (maybe the foundation doesnt have enough coverage maybe its the yellow colour) and the foundation has talc in it so its not very good for my skin.

Thanks :)

Hi!

Yellow concealer is great for dark circles. I do think that your foundation may need a little more coverage to cover some of the yellow. Have you tried mineral make up? Mineral make up allows you to build up the coverage you need. It also looks quite natural when you put it on.
But as you are prone to dry patches, it may not be suitable for you as it will show up as flakes on the skin. Unless you manage to control the dryness. Extra virgin Olive oil is great for dry skin and it does not cause more spots. After you have cleansed at night, apply olive oil to the skin while it is still damp and massage it in. Do this every night. It should help with the dryness.
