I am 44yrs old and i had a tubal ligation ,my tube were tied.that was 13yrs ago.and now i would like to have a tubal reversal .i would like to know if thats possible at my age?and it been 13yrs already would it be a problem. thanks, Olga

Yes, you could have a reversal done, but do speak with your doctor about it. Unfortunately, fertility drops dramatically in the 40's and there is a cut off for age that some doctors will assist a woman trying to become pregnant.

As Doula mentioned, you can have a reversal, but since it was so long ago the chances of it being effective are very slim. This also depends on the method used. There is never a guarantee that a reversal will result in pregnancy.
