Hi guys.
I had my implanon implant inserted about 24 hours ago. (ouch)
My period started 2 days ago and it usually lasts for 5 days but it has just suddenly stopped.
My doctor told me to expect fairly heavy/irregular bleeding for up to 6 months.
Is this right? Does it sound like I'm one of the lucky ones who doesn't get their period at all or is it just coincidence?

edit = does implanon have an effect this fast?

I take it no-one has an implanon thingy :( awwwww

Never mind... it's back with a vengence today :(

hi i wouldnt worry, i had the implant put in feb 2008 and didnt have a period until jan 2009 now ive had them every
month, very strange but i assume my body was getting used to it or something. Hope this helps
