Hi I am a very handsome guy and people always compliment me on the way I look and how handsome I am, people would also come up to my mother and tell her what a handsome son she has:) but I have a problem I am doing an acting course and when I am acting for the camera I couldn't help but notice that I look kinda ugly:mad: I never asked anyone if they saw the same thing but they would always say how wonderful I act because I am like the only one in class who can act really good. I don't know if it is only me seeing that or am I just overreacting and being too judgmental on myself but is there any tips that I can look photogenic because I really wanna pursue acting. Thanks.

i cannot reallly tell you how to be photogenic but my advice to you is that you need alittle bit more self esteem...it seems to me that you dont really compliment yourself enough and you only depend on people's opinion...the more confident you have you will definitely notice it in a picture......so just be self confident and you see how photogenic you are ...trust do what pleases you.....and if you do that you will be more self satisfied....

They say everyone has a good side or angle that the camera likes best.Find your good side and I think you will be fine.

Be natural, don't force a smile or strike a pose.

Remember you may not look as bad as you think you are. Everyone is their own worst critic.

A really good actor can be gorgeous yet make everyone believe that they are hideous. An unattractive actor can make people believe they are the best looking person in the world.

Confidence, learning, accepting yourself for who you are, the rest will follow.
