Hi! I have a question about the start up of my home based baking mix business

i am trying to raise the extra money i need for start up but am wondering if selling large personalised cookies door to door is a good idea and how do i go about selling to people door to door? :o
what do i say and should i pass out a small business card and flyers to make them feel like i am serious about what i am doing??

do you have any other ideas?? this is my only option right now until i raise enough for business license, etc then i will apply for grants.
