I have a dollar-sized cluster of small itchy bumps on my left side, 2 inches under my armpit.
They itch , and do not look like pimples or blackheads.

Anyone know what it is?

Do they look like little blisters? Are they just flesh colored? It's hard to tell from your description. HSV 1 or 2 would have little fluid filled blisters...a yeast infection or something along those lines would look different. Is the affected area red and raised at all? It could be an allergic reaction, also. Have you changed detergents or gotten a new bra?

They are red and raised. And it wouldn't be a yeast infection. They haven't crusted over or anything like that

My niece recently had a yeast infection near her arm pit...it seems unlikely, but it did happen. Does the area get moist often?
