I am a college student paying rent for an apartment, I filed my own federal and state taxes, but my parents claim me as dependent on theirs. On the Mi homestead credit it states I can claim my rent as long as I put an amount in other income from my parents. What amount do I put in there? How much they give me yearly for my living expenses? I made 4333 last year was able to pay for most of my rent but they do supplement me for the additional amount and my food. Please let me know how to fill out this form
