Would you be able to tell me if Life Path Unlimited is a legitimate operating business to get involved with? Thank you.

As a home-based business it's no different than all the others that offer the promise of "multiple six-figure income". Although I'm sure the product on that site will be harder to sell than Tupperware or Gourmet items....

Are you able to see the product before making any investments? Is it an MLM? I'd recommend finding people who've actually used the product. What your doing by asking here is a good start. Ask the company for people you can contact who are re-sellers. Put together some questions to ask each. The more broad research you do, the better.

This looks to me to be an MLM (network marketing). If that's the case, knowing about the product is just step one. You also need to understand that kind of marketing. In my opinion, unless you're really good at this kind of selling, you're success will be as good as your upline is.

Couple things.

While it appears to be a legitimate company, by their own admission, they're new. If I were to get involved with them, I'd like them to be a bit more seasoned...

Next, it appears that it's NOT internet sales. You'll probable have to sell these books and tapes to your family members and friends... That ain't gonna be easy.

Finally, as Needkarma said, Tupperware is easier. Everybody needs Tupperware.
