my thermostat currently says "in recovery", it is honeywell, not sure of the model as i am not home, for the past couple days the temperature in the house is 10 degrees lower than what the thermostat says it should be at. the unit for the most part will not stay on, when i turn the thermostat on and off the unit will come on for a minute, then shut back off. do i need a new thermostat? the thermostate is only about a year old

In the pic, the small round window below the Kenmore logo is a viewer for the status LED. Observe this for a pattern of blinks while the furnace is running and locate the service label that describes the faults.
