What would be the correct journal entry to reconcile investment accounts? I have Morgan Stanley trust accounts where the value changes monthly but there is no other activity. How would I post that change on my ledgers?

The Market fulcuations go to an account like "Unrealized Gains/Losses on Investment"

Do not adjust the investment account itself, that should be maintained at historical cost.
