I resided in NH for all of 2007--got laid off and collected in 2008 from NH only.
I moved to Mass in Feb 2008. Am I required to pay state taxes to MA since NH has no state tax

I just read that you're from NH. Whereabouts?

If you live in MA, you will have to pay MA state tax.

I know because I live in MA too.

You are required to pay state taxes to MA on your income earned starting from the date you moved there. So this means Feb onward.
