I worked in USA on L1B from Jan 2008 to Mar 2008 and on H1 rest of year (with one month vacation for marriage outside USA). My wife entered USA in Feb, 2009(her first visit to US) on H4. She did not have any income in home country (outside usa) in year 2008.
How do I file my tax returns for year 2008? Individual or Joint?
How do I get ITIN for my wife?
What forms will I need?

You have probably already filed, and I hope you filed jointly with your wife, submitting Form W-7 to get an ITIN for your wife.
