Thank you for ur reply on my question about which form I should be filling to file my taxes. however please correct me if i'm wrong. form 8843 is for social security and medicare, and I am exempt from these two on OPT. Now is this for the 3 months Oct, Nov, Dec 2008?

If you are single, you will file Form 1040NR or 1040NR-EZ and 8843.

The for for Social Security and Medicare refunds is Form 843.
