What can I do when he doesn't talk to me? I know he is a 'quiet' guy, but I would like some conversation. When I tell him that he just replies that he's a quiet guy.

How long have you been going out with him?

Try to talk to him about something that you share in common with him.

Ask him about an interest of his. Then see if he is interested in some interests of yours.

Don't go asking him why he doesn't talk. Some people are just quiet. That may just be how he is and you will have to get used to it while you're with him.
