Ok I just had my well dry up on me and I had another one dug. Now my shower has no pressure what so ever. It just trickles out and when I turn on the show it doesn't have enough pressure to make it to the top. I don't thinks it's a pressure issue. I think that the line got clogged with sand. Could I use air or something to remove the clogg?

Is the problem isolated to just that one shower? If so, remove the spray head and make sure its clear. If it was clear then open the mixing valve cartridge to remove debris.

Remove your shower head. Run water through shower Arm ONLY. See how much water flow you'll get. Than, clean your shower head. There is a small reducer inside the threaded section of the head. Clean it or remove it completely.

No it has no pressure in the faucet as well and I took both the shower head and the faucet of and I can't see anything. Yes its just the bathtub that has this issue everything else is fine. Also it doesn't matter weather its hot or cold there is still just a little stream of water.

OK so with the shower head removed did you try to run the water? Was it the same or better with no shower head at all? The clog could be in the mixing valve but please answer my questions before we take the next step.

Yeah I tried to run it with both the head and the faucet off and it's the same.

Then you clog is in the mixing valve for the shower/tub. Close you suplly lines to this room and start disassembly of the valve. If you need/want more details it will help with a picture or model/brand for the valve.

1. Turn water off on the outside of the house
2. Take skinny screw driver, insert it under the Logo and pop it out
3. Unscrew phillips type screw in the middle of the handle
4. Remove handle
5. There will be large, chrome nut: unscrew it with channel locks
6. Remove ball - like cartridge ( carefull: there will be 2 small cup-like washers and 2 springs. Do not let them fall out
7. Now, remove the two cup-like washers and two springs
8. Clean cartridge, see if the passages in the body are clean. You can also crack-open water for few seconds to flush the body valve. Also, observe how much water flow you will get.
9. If enough, reassemble, turn water ON

The large plate you have on the wall is actually retrofit plate. Meaning, there was a different faucet before and somebody converted it into a single handle unit. You can remove that large plate. You may have built-in water stop valves inside. They sometimes may clog as well. If they are there, then before you turn water On, unscrew the and clean them as well.

OK I took the cartridge out and cleand it. It wasn't that clogd up at all. I have reassembled it 20 times and still no water. I turned the water on with it removed and the water shot out like a rocket at me. Took 5 minutes to clean the water up so I know I have pressure, but I can't get the dang thing to work. Ive giving up help it doesn't look like it has anything blocking the water.

If you get great pressure with the blue cartridge out, then the cartridge is plugged. You can try to clean cartridge, or just go to home depot or any supply house and get a new cartridge. Take the cartridge with you to the supply house and tell them you need this part. Reinstall and your problems are solved. Please let us know if you need further assistance.

I have the same problem, no pressure with cartridge in, plenty of pressure with cartridge out. I have replaced the cartridge and no difference. My faucet however, is a Moen, I believe Moentrol, not posi-temp.
Any hints here, I have a call into Moen right now. I believe it is a warranted part, but I am not looking forward to sweating it out and back in.

Papa, its better to start you own thread if you have an issue. Moen does give lifetime warranty on their valves and parts. No sweating needed to replace a Moen cartridge.
