Dear experts,

I live in GA and own an S corporation in which I am the only employer. I am a consultant and travel to customer locations in variuos states.
If I worked part year in VA and part year in TX, but always lived in GA what are my state tax payments should be?

Do I need to pay taxes to whatever state I earned them in, or I should be paying taxes always to GA regardless?

I believe this has two components, one corporate tax, and the other individual income tax, appreciate if some one can answer for both.

regards
Raju

Raju:

You need to contact a competent local tax professional to handle your return. Your corporation may have had a requirement to withhold Virginia taxes from your salary. It depends on the amount of time spent in Virginia and how much of your base salary was earned while In Virginia.
