I set thermostate for heat also set to automatic. No heat is coming out of vents so i went downstairs to investagate further. I took panel off heating system where there are 4 blowers that would normally be ignited. All i can tell is that the unit is operating cause there is sound and blowing coming from that area(where the 4 burners are) but no heat cause the burners are not ignited. By the way, when thermostate is set for fan, it works fine but not heat. I am very neive about above and any advice or help would be appreciated. Thankyou.

Start by posting brand and model #. Look for a self-diagnostic LED. If equipped, it will lead you to the problem.
