I filed my taxes through e-file. It is suposed to be deposited into my account tomorrow. When I called the bank today they told me the amount that was on hold to be deposited tomorrow. It is $300 short of what my tax return says. What do I need to do? Who do I need to talk to about fixing this?

Contact the IRS and ask them what your refund amount should have been. What efile program did you use if any?

I used TurboTax online. How do I contact the IRS?

Call 1-800-829-1040.

I suspect that they confiscated a Economic Stimulus Payment you got last year to which the IRS since determined you were NOT entitled.
