Hi,

My husband is on H1B and I'm currently on H4. Last year we filed our taxes jointly to get maximum standard deduction. However, as I do not have an SSN, we didn't get any stimulus money.

Do you suggest filing separately would help this year?

Many thanks in anticipation of your advice,

If you have SSN this year, you will get recovery rebate (stimulus rebate).
