Hi All,

I just started working as a 1099 and am wondering if I can also (or also have to) file a 2106. I am responsible for all costs associated with doing business and do not get reimbursed from the company. Thanks!

The expenses you incurred while working under a W-2 must be reported on Form 2106.

When you started working under the Form 1099-MISC, your income and expenses are then reported on the Schedule C.
