i am 19 weeks pregnant. My recent ultrasound sonography was a targeted scan. It showed development of various parts of the baby. In one section, it shows "right uterine artery" and "left uterine artery". Does this mean it is a baby girl. I am scared to ask my doc.

They will check your uterine arteries to be sure all looks well. If there are concerns early on, it can lead them to be more aware of potential problems later in the pregnancy. This is likely what was being referred to.
