I am installing a lp fireplace in my home in Arkansas....Is there a regulation limiting the length of the flex line?

That is a loaded question. In some areas you are not allowed to use a flex gas line in the fireplace burner area at all and other areas do not mention it. It would be wise to check with your local building department OR follow the manufactures install instructions.
