Jones, a sole trader, has extracted a trial balance and needed to insert a suspense account to make it balance.He has discovered the following errors.
Errors
1-Opening inventory of $1,475 has been listed in the trial balance as a credit balance of $1,745

2-The sales for Nov ($5390 inclusive of sales tax) had been correctly entered n the control a/c and the seles a/c but no entry had been made in the sales tax a/c.The amount entered in the sales a/c was $4600

3-The opening accrual for telephone charges of $190 had been brought forward on the wrong side of the telephone expense a/c

What was the suspense a/c balance that Jones inserted into the trial balance?

a) $2,050 debit
b) $2,050 credit
c) $2,840 debit
d) $2,840 credit

we tried it in class but could'nt solve it.our answer comes out a bigger value than the options.
