Is there someway to locate one's state taxpayer id number? I have my federal taxpayer id number but cannot find my state number.

Did you ever register as a business in NJ? Usually the number is based on your Federal ID: such as, Fed ID#12-3456789, state # will be 123-456-789/000. You can also check the "NJ Business Gateway" website: NJ Business Gateway Registry Services (http://www.state.nj.us/njbgs/index.html)
