My furnace is making an explosion sound while it's running. It seems to be short cycling and getting burst of gas before the igniter ignites. It doesn't do this all the time, but last night it did at least 4 times within 3 hours. Any ideas of what it could be?

I suggest you get that furnace services ASAP.
