if the price of an article redused by rs 2, 5more articles could be bought for Rs 120- find the original price of the article.

Hello Rashmi

Original price of article = x (each)
New price of article = (x - 2) (each)
At the new price you can buy 5 more items (= 1 + 5 = 6 items) for Rs 120, so 1 item at new price cost Rs .... ?

Now calculate the original price x, and you have your answer !
