I have a comformaker furnace and the heat will run for roughly 5 minutes and then shuts off with blower still running. I noticed the duct going up from the main unit is extremely hot (not sure if this is normal), but the light unit blinks 5 times which says "open rollout swith error"? What does this mean and is this something I can fix?

Thanks,
Corey

If your roll-out switch is opening up you might want to consider calling in a pro to inspect your furnace. It could be something simple like a failing/weak roll-out but it could be a cracked heat exchanger which is VERY DANGEROUS! Please do not attempt to bypass this switch. It is a safety feature that is there for a reason.
