I cannot vouch for them, but will point out that you should beware; They point to their excellent (admittedly) feedback on eBay, but feedback on eBay only speaks to how fast they ship...not how well the product works.

You are right to seek unbiased 3rd party opinions of the product.

Yes, I bought their Alpha Arbutin and their Canvas Base cream.

I put the whole Alpha Arubtin in the cream, which should have made it a 5% Arbutin cream.

It didn't work:confused:

They do have their own skinactives forum where members exchange "recipes" and I do see that the ones who's potions did work for them have at least 5 actives in their cream, I only put one.

A member of another board posted she used their actives to make a skin lightening cream and she burned herself!! So I'm thinking whoa:eek: maybe I should start off slow with just one ingredent and see what happens.

Perhaps her skin was very, very sensitive to their actives. I don't consider my skin sensitive. So I am going to give it another shot.

I just have to find the right combination of skin lighteners to add to my cream.

I think the next time I'll try Alpha Arbutin, Kojic Acid and Licorice.

They do offer a Skin Lightening Kit with 4 oz. Canvas, Powder mix (White Liquorice, glutathione, arbutin, melatonin, MAP, kojic acid dipalmitate)

That's 7 actives right there.

I have no idea what glutathione or MAP is:confused:

Melatonin sounds familiar to me but I'll have to look that up too.

The Canvas Base cream is really nice and creamy.

I'll try it again and see....
