I started spotting today,not alot, but then tonight I started having period like cramps . I had sex with my husband 12 days ago and my period was just before that,so I know its not time for me to start. Any ideas? I have no other symptoms. Just cramping in my pelvic area and spotting, bright red.

Pregnancy is always a possibility, but it could also be breakthrough bleeding if you are on birth control pills, irritation to the cervix, hormone fluctuations, infection.....
If you have been trying to get pregnant, give it several more days and try a pregnancy test....or see what happens when your next period is due and test at that time if no period.
