Hydroquinone is really dangerous and can cause bad skin effects such as hyper pigmentation if used long term its mainly used for skin lightening. It is illegal in the uk but often safe when prescribed as it is a concentrated amount. However i personally wouldnt risk this product. My friend found that changing/ or going on the pill really helped with her acne and cleared it up considerably. It may not work for you if you have acne but i personally found that using sudacrem on pimples got rid of them asap!!
