Merry xmas everyone,im neew to this site and hoping someone can tell me if im gonna bugger up my furnace, with oil prices through the roof(were through the roof getting better) we have been just running wood in our combo furnace,we have kept the fire going through the night and if we go away for a day,in the morning or if we were away sometimes the fire is almost out when we get home so i find that the best way to get it going good again is by running on manual power, this seems to work amazin and our bg farm house is warm again,we had trouble with the motor for the oil so if we let the fire go out the oil wont kick in which is all right im just wondering if i run the manual too long or too much is this bad??? my wife seems to think it will,we arent running it for a long period of time and it has been running great, hoping someone can tell me too stop if it is bad...hope to hear from someone and merry xmas too all!!!!
