I have lived in our condo for 13 yrs and i am now experencing a new problem. The condensation drain from the flue of my gas furnace (hot air heat) and a drain from the hot air discharge duct go into a small hole in the basement floor. It seems that either the mositure is not being absorted into the ground or that a lot more water is being generated.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Buy a condensate pump and plug t nto an electrc outlet.
Have the drain(s) empty into the condensate pump and then run a hose(3/8" or 1/2") from the condensate pump outlet to an open fixture or sink. The condensate will not dampen the ground which may cause mold problems and will discharge the liquid condensate to a safe location on our plumbing system.

exactly,,,,,,in most city,,county and states there is a building code that says the condensation must be routed or pumped into a sewer drain of some type
