Sorry for if this is a repost. I've seen a few threads with similar problems but not exactly.

Problem:

I have hot water everywhere in my house except in the upstairs shower. They cold water works fine in the upstairs shower, but when you turn it to hot water, its like you are turning the water off. Both sinks in the same bathroom have hot water.

I have replaced the faucet (Delta single) and the problem persists. I've noticed that when I had the faucet take apart, that water was dripping from the right side (cold water side) but the left side (hot water) was not.

I did notice a little change in hot water pressure the last two days, but nothing to the extent that would have made me believe it would be completely gone today. From what I have read, I have a sediment (mineral) backup. My question is, is this something I can fix with a visit to Lowe's or do I need to call a plumber? Would a "snake"be able to reach a mineral deposit, and if so where would it be?

Look fwd to hearing from you... thanks in advance.
