I have a trane unit and every thing is working as it should when you turn it on. as the ignitor comes on the burners wont come on, any info ? or what to check ?

Post model #, sounds like a bad ignition module is not powering gas control, or a good module is powering a bad gas control.

XE80 is just the style. The actual model # is needed - look inside the unit.

Do you have a voltmeter? If so check for voltage at gas control valve while ignitor is glowing.
